It’s official. Oxford University Press has named "Rage Bait" the 2025 Word of the Year.
If you’ve spent any time online this year, you know the feeling. The algorithm feeds you something annoying, you stop scrolling, your blood pressure spikes, and you leave an angry comment. The internet has figured out that making you mad keeps you clicking.
But at Roamdome, we think your adrenaline should be used for something better.
(The Problem: Bad Adrenaline)
Rage bait traps you in a cycle of passive stress. It spikes your cortisol without giving you a physical outlet. You’re angry, but you’re sitting still. That’s a recipe for burnout.
(The Solution: The Roamdome Release)
We are the antidote to the algorithm. When you step into the arena, you aren’t thumb-warring with strangers in a comment section; you are squad-linking with your friends to survive a zombie apocalypse or explore zero-gravity.
Active vs. Passive: Rage bait wants you frozen. We need you to duck, dive, and move.
Cooperation vs. Conflict: The internet divides us. The arena unites us.
Heroism vs. Victimhood: Online, you're the target. In Roamdome, you’re the hero.
(The Call to Action)
This week, turn off the notifications that make you mad. Come burn off that energy in a way that actually feels good.
Don’t let the rage bait win. Book your session today and swap the outrage for a rush.
